Early summer marks the harvest season for a sprawling 80-mu (approx. 5.3 hectares) high-altitude cherry orchard in Heishan Village, Huanma Town, Cangxi County, Sichuan Province. Leveraging the unique ecological advantages of the mountainous region, local farmers have succeeded in growing premium-quality cherries while creating stable jobs for villagers and boosting their incomes. These small cherries have truly become a “fruit of prosperity” on the path to rural revitalization.

Strolling through the cherry orchard in Heishan Village, visitors are greeted by lush trees laden with clusters of bright, glossy cherries glistening invitingly under the sun. Tourists weave between the rows, baskets in hand, enjoying the joy of picking their own fruit — laughter and cheerful chatter fill the air.

Nestled at the southern foot of the Daba Mountains, Heishan Village sits at an elevation of 500 to 1,000 meters. The significant temperature difference between day and night, combined with abundant sunshine, provides an ideal environment for cherry cultivation. According to Kou Hanxiong, head of the orchard, the farm has consistently adhered to eco-friendly practices and standardized management — no pesticides, no chemical fertilizers — with a firm commitment to quality. This year’s harvest boasts excellent fruit quality and yield, and the cherries are highly recognized by the market.

The orchard now provides steady employment for more than 30 local villagers year-round, increasing their average annual income by over 2,000 yuan per person. 初夏时节，四川省苍溪县唤马镇黑山村80余亩高山车厘子基地迎来采摘期，依托山区得天独厚的生态优势，当地种出高品质鲜果，让村民在家门口稳定就业增收，小小车厘子成为乡村振兴路上的“致富果”。

走进唤马镇黑山村车厘子基地，漫山果树郁郁葱葱，一串串色泽鲜亮的车厘子缀满枝头，在阳光照射下格外诱人。不少游客提着果篮穿梭林间，体验采摘乐趣，现场欢声笑语不断。

唤马镇黑山村地处大巴山南麓，海拔500至1000米，昼夜温差大，光照充足，为车厘子生长提供了绝佳环境。据种植基地负责人寇含雄介绍，近年来，种植基地一直坚持生态种植、标准化管理，不打农药、不用化肥，坚持把品质做扎实。今年果品和产量都非常好，市场认可度也比较高。

目前，该基地常年稳定吸纳30余名本地村民务工，人均年增收超过2000元，昔日的荒山荒坡，如今变成了群众的“增收园”。产业兴则乡村兴。
