Recently, at the 5th Sichuan Rural Culture Revitalization Charm Competition jointly organized by nine provincial departments including the Publicity Department, Cyberspace Affairs Office, and Education Department, the online performance Lijiang Stilts submitted by Lijiang Primary School in Cangxi County, Sichuan Province, was awarded second prize in the Local Cultural Talent category. Teachers and students brought the provincial-level intangible cultural heritage (ICH) item “Lijiang Stilts” onto a provincial showcase platform, vividly demonstrating the unique charm of this cultural treasure.

Lijiang Stilts is a traditional athletic activity unique to Lijiang Town, Cangxi County, with a history tracing back over 300 years to the migration period during the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty. The art is divided into two main schools: Cultural Stilts, characterized by theatrical role-playing and exaggerated movements, and Acrobatic Stilts, which includes competitive elements such as rope jumping and spinning. It was officially listed in the sixth batch of Sichuan Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Representative Items in April 2023.

Since its introduction of Acrobatic Stilts in 1999, Lijiang Primary School has persevered through the dedicated efforts of its teachers and students, transforming “Lijiang Stilts” from a campus activity into a “School for Inheriting Excellent Traditional Chinese Culture.” Today, this ICH practice has not only become a defining cultural symbol of the school but also a model for “building distinctive rural schools” in China’s educational landscape.

This achievement is a concrete result of the local commitment to promoting “ICH in Schools” and deepening campus cultural education. It showcases the active role of youth in preserving and promoting traditional culture and provides valuable experience for further advancing aesthetic education and cultural development in local schools.

四川苍溪：用非遗育人 让特色兴校

近日，在省委宣传部、省委网信办、省教育厅等九部门联合主办的第五届四川省乡村文化振兴魅力竞演大赛中，四川省苍溪县漓江小学报送的线上展演作品《漓江高跷》荣获大赛乡土文化能人类二等奖。漓江小学师生将省级非物质文化遗产代表性项目“漓江高跷”搬上省级展示平台，生动展现了这一文化瑰宝的独特魅力。

漓江高跷是苍溪县漓江镇特有的传统体育竞技活动，其历史可追溯至清康熙年间湖广填四川移民时期，至今已有300余年传承史。该技艺分文跷与武跷两大流派，文跷以戏剧角色扮相和夸张动作为特色，武跷则包含跳绳、转圈等竞技项目 。2023年4月被正式列入四川省第六批省级非物质文化遗产代表性项目名录。

据悉，漓江小学自1999年引入武跷传承至今，通过全体师生的不懈努力，漓小高跷从“校园活动”成长为“中华优秀传统文化传承学校”。现在，非遗高跷不仅成为学校的“文化符号”，更成为中国乡村教育“特色兴校”的典范。

该成绩的取得，是当地持续推动“非遗进校园”、深化校园文化育人工作的具体成果，展现了青少年在传承弘扬优秀传统文化中的生动实践，为进一步推进当地学校美育与文化建设积累了宝贵经验。
