As the year draws to a close, the festive spirit fills the air. On January 6, Gaotai Village in Huangmaoya Town, Cangxi County, Sichuan Province, was brightly adorned with festive decorations and buzzing with excitement as the “Cangxi Ice and Snow Season · Highland New Year Pig Festival” warmly kicked off.

By 9:30 a.m., the venue was already lively and bustling. Red lanterns hung across the square, while performers in vibrant costumes put on an auspicious lion dance, leaping and twirling to the cheerful beats of drums and gongs. They extended warm New Year’s blessings to visitors, creating a joyous and harmonious holiday atmosphere.

In the New Year goods exhibition area, dozens of tents were neatly arranged, showcasing a variety of local specialty products brought by farmers—from free-range eggs and ecological native chickens to hand-pulled noodles and fresh fruits. The dazzling array of festive goods delighted every visitor.

As noon approached, the highly anticipated New Year’s pork banquet officially began. Dishes freshly prepared from locally sourced pork were served one after another, filling the air with rich, inviting aromas. Visitors gathered around tables, savoring authentic local delicacies, sharing their experiences, and enjoying continuous laughter and conversation.

Featuring a genuine pork feast and a lively kick-off to the new year, along with a practical and heartfelt exhibition of local agricultural products, this New Year Pig Festival not only allowed visitors to experience the unique charm of traditional customs but also boosted the tourism appeal of Huangmaoya Scenic Area, injecting new vitality into rural revitalization. 四川苍溪：赏民俗 品庖汤 购年货 解锁新春限定年味

年关将至，年味渐浓。1月6日，四川省苍溪县黄猫垭镇高台村张灯结彩、热闹非凡，“苍溪县冰雪季・高山年猪节”在这里温情启幕。

当日上午九点半，活动现场已是人声鼎沸。红色的灯笼挂满广场，舞狮队身着喜庆的服饰，伴随着欢快的锣鼓声跳跃翻腾，为前来参加活动的游客们送上开门见喜的祝福，现场洋溢着欢乐祥和的节日氛围。

在年货展销区里，数十顶帐篷整齐排列，当地农户带来了土鸡蛋、生态土鸡、手工挂面、新鲜水果等特色农产品，琳琅满目的年货让游客们眼花缭乱。

临近中午，最受期待的刨猪宴正式开席。以新鲜年猪为食材烹饪的杀猪菜陆续端上餐桌，鲜香四溢的味道扑鼻而来。游客们围坐在一起，品尝着地道的乡土美食，畅谈着游玩感受，欢声笑语不断。
